Description: Ichthyol belongs to the category of tars. It is an agent that normalizes epidermopoiesis process, decreasing the exaggerated proliferation of epidermal keratinocytes. It has local anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antifungal effects, demonstrated in in vitro studies.
Properties:
• anti-inflammatory, reducing local inflammation
• astringent and regenerating, cleaning the affected area and speeding up scarring
without traces, thanks to ichthyol and zinc oxide in combination with plant extracts • antimicrobial, thanks to ichthyol that inhibits the proliferation of epidermal cells
• antipruritic, thanks to plant extracts that act synergistically
with active substances
• good adhesion due to the cream-paste consistency • reduces the exudate (secretions) from injured areas,
favouring healing of damaged skin
Indications:
• dry eczema, with thick, deep crusts
• itching
• atonic wounds
Composition: 15% zinc oxide, Plantago lanceolata leaf extract, 1,5% ichthammol, Hyssopus officinalis extract, Achillea millefolium extract, Salvia officinalis extract, excipients.
Use: local applications, in a thin layer, as often as needed.
